The Banwell Road Corridor Improvements: We supported the multimillion-dollar Banwell Road Corridor project, which involved extensive road restoration, traffic flow enhancements, and the EC Row Expressway Interchange project. These initiatives aim to reduce commute times and safely accommodate the region's growth.
We also invested in our parks and green spaces by partnering with community organizations to revitalize local parks across Forest Glade and East Riverside. This ensures that families have access to well-maintained outdoor spaces to connect and stay active.
In terms of community safety, we responded directly to residents’ concerns by securing upgrades for brighter, modern streetlights and park lighting to improve visibility and provide peace of mind across our neighborhoods.

MAKING WINDSOR BETTER
Angelo Marignani has demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Ward 7 by delivering tangible improvements across local parks, recreational amenities, and critical road infrastructure.
Transforming Ward 7 Parks and Green Spaces
During his term, Councillor Marignani has led significant investments to ensure local parks are safe, accessible, and vibrant hubs for families, seniors, and active residents in Forest Glade and East Riverside. Key achievements include:
Forest Glade Park: Major upgrades include new tennis and pickleball courts, a splash pad, a washroom building, and resurfaced parking lots.
Elizabeth Kishkon Park: Enhancements include a dog park, improved parking infrastructure, a new multi-use trail west of the dog park, and new bathroom facilities.
Playground and Amenities: Councillor Marignani oversaw the complete replacement of playgrounds at Cora Greenwood Park, South Rendezvous Park, Seneca Park, Stillmeadow Park, and Little River Corridor Park. A new shade structure has been added at Wildwood Park.
Multi-Use Pathway Projects: He directed replacement and extension projects along the Little River Boulevard multi-use pathway and the Little River Corridor.
Improved park safety by installing solar lights at Bush Park, Cora Greenwood Park, Seneca Park, Wildwood Park, and Forest Glade Community Center
Urban Forestry and Stewardship: He supported ongoing tree trimming and residential tree planting initiatives across Ward 7, introducing hundreds of new trees to neighborhood right-of-ways and parklands.
Sandpoint Beach
Was able to fast-track the engineering schematics, which will be coming back to council in late 2026 which prepare the master plan so that it is shovel-ready and completes the necessary paperwork for upper levels of government funding.
Delivering Critical Transit Infrastructure
Councillor Marignani has championed significant road repairs and transit improvements to make Ward 7 streets safer and smoother for commuters. He secured citywide funds for the much-needed Banwell Road mill-and-paving project. His advocacy at City Hall redirected uncommitted citywide funds directly to Ward 7, ensuring these resources were used to resolve immediate neighborhood road issues rather than being allocated elsewhere.
Banwell Corridor and Expressway Overpass: He collaborated with other council members to advance the multi-million-dollar transformation of the Banwell Road corridor, including the vital EC Row Expressway interchange project, aimed at reducing gridlock, improving safety, and accommodating regional growth.
Local Neighborhood Paving: He secured funding for comprehensive mill-and-pave work on essential neighborhood connections, such as Cora Greenwood Drive, and for a complete road reconstruction of Mulberry Court to repair deteriorating curves, sidewalks, and driveways.
East End Transit Terminal Expansion: Councillor Marignani supported the strategic relocation of the transit terminal to the intersection of Tecumseh Rd East and Lauzon Parkway. This change has unlocked thousands of previously delayed service hours, allowing for increased bus frequency, shorter wait times, and smoother cross-city transit access for East Riverside and Forest Glade residents.
